Toyota is planning for launching the hatchback model YARIS in Indian market which should be their first hatchback model introducing in India. The C segment petrol car should give a displacement of 1500cc. Yaris have a maximum power of 106 bhp @ 6000 rpm and also have a maximum torque of 103 lb @ 4200rpm.

Toyota Yaris should have length, width, height of 3614mm, 1600mm and 1440mm respectively. It also should have a headroom of 945mm. It offers 5 seater capacity normally like all other hatchbacks.

Independent MacPherson strut torsion beam suspensions give better riding comfort in Indian roads. Toyota also includes some features like tilt steering, front and rear disc brakes, body colour bumber, tachometer, trip meters, 2 airbags for driver and co-driver, parking sensors, fog lamps, ABS and EBD for their precious costomers. Traction controls, Xenon lamps, headlamp washers, etc should be avilable for top versions.

5 speed manual gear Yaris will give a ground clearance of 132mm. Toyota also included some other features like AC with automatic climate control, power window, central locking, remote boot, remote fuel filler, rear wiper, rear defogger, steering adjustment, music system, leather seat and electric door mirrors.

The expecting price for Toyota Yaris should be approximately 7 lakhs.
