Mclaren Announces Price of The MP4-12C In Europe

McLaren have finally announced the price tag for their highly sought after supercar, the McLaren MP4-12C.

The car will be priced at £168,500 ($225,372) in UK with 20% VAT. The price comes £1045 less that the Ferrari's 458 Italia with 2700 pre-orders already placed on the epic MP4-12C.

That £168,500 will get you a supercar with a turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine hooked up to a  seven-speed "Seamless Shift" double-clutch transmission churning out 600 bhp and 599 Nm of torque. All that allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in less than 3.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).

First Ever McLaren F1 Produced Up For Sale

The first McLaren F1 to ever come out of the McLaren factory has been put up for sale on Jameslist.com.

If your interested , the car has 300 miles on it and comes with a price tag of $3,175,000 (€2,582,560). This 1995 model is painted in silver .

The F1 consists of a 6.1-liter BMW V12 engine wich propelled it in the the pages of history until it was over taken by cars like the Veyron and SSC Ultimate Aero.

This car was owned by Gemballa North America and the reason for the sudden sale of this masterpiece is still unknown

Mp4-12C Pre-Orders Reach 2700

McLaren' s new Mp4-12C has become a new hit among supercar buyers as expected. More than 2700 orders have been place on the car even though McLaren only plans to make 1000 per year. So what that means is that McLaren's Mp4-12C wont be available for buyers after this for more than two and a half years. Maybe the twin-turbo 3.8-litre V8 with 447 kW (600 bhp / 608 PS) and 599 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque just makes the car irresistable and maybe a top speed of 300 kmph(186mph) and 0-100 km/h in less than 3.8 seconds just makes it even more irrestable.
