2010 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 VX [Review]


The name Land cruiser represents the significant cred in off-roading circles. Toyota updated Land cruiser from its previous models by making a 45 litre auxiliary fuel tank which is standard on all models. It also added crawl control for diesel models because it is standard on the petrol. Other updates like a reverse camera, auxiliary audio input jacks, iPod connectivity and a rear 12 volt power outlet.

A 18 inch alloys, a moonroof and dark grey privecy glass were also provided for the standard equipment of 2010 Land cruiser VX model.

The Land cruiser carries some standard features like cruise control, a trip computer, a reverse camera, a power moonroof, foglamps, power windows, steering wheel mounted audio control system and duel zone climate control. The Land cruiser supports keyless entry and ignition just like its previous models. Both front wheels are electrically adjustable for recline and slide.
Toyota offers a better interior quality which is everything you would expecting from the brand. The interior design might be described as bland but it uses better quality plastics. The 2010 Land cruiser is equipped with ABS, brake assist, stability control, traction control, brake assist and electronic brake force distributing system. These features will help to improve the traction on both on and off roads. The Hill start assist will help the Land Cruiser from rolling backward when moving off on an steep incline.

The 200 series Land cruisers has not been tested by ANCAP or EURO NCAP but it also contains 10 airbags as standard equipment and for VX and sahara include duel front, duel front knee airbags and side airbags for the first two rows and full length curtain airbags which cover all three rows.

Toyota offers a petrol consumption of 14.51/100 km and also a three year warrenty. The 2010 Totota Land cruiser 200 VX petrol retails $88,500 and diesel costs $98,750.
