Lotus has taken the sheets off the new Evora S and Evora IPS.
Lets start off with the supercharged Evora S first. As the S in the name suggests , this car comes with supercharged 3.5-liter V6 making 346 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque which is ample for the car to do 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and get a top speed 172 mph (277 km/h).
New things include restyled wheels, cross-drilled brakes , a new rear diffuser and the "sport pack" option as standard.
On the Evora IPS which stands for Intelligent Precision Shift, power comes from a 3.5-liter V6 which churns out 276 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque hooked up to a six-speed automatic transmission. Top speed for this Lotus comes at 155 mph (250 km/h) and 0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds. If you are an environmentalist , you would be interested to hear that the car has a combined fuel consumption rating of 8.8l/100km (26.7 mpg US) and a CO2 emissions rating of 208 g/km.
Lotus CEO , Dany Bahar says "You don't realize what you were missing from your driving experience until you get behind the wheel of the Evora S. It's the next level of Evora experience. It communicates with you better, the suspension setting has been fine tuned for added power and control so it responds even more to direction. It's an instinctual car, the experience is pure."
An official release will be held at the Paris Motor Show.
