Kia Forte Koup Review


Kia's have never been good looking or sporty ,until the Kia Forte Koup came along.

Based on the Forte sedan , the Koup starts at just $16,595 which 3000 more than the Forte sedan. For that price you get the manual EX and the automatic costs $17,595 .The top of the range manual SX will cost you $17,695 with the automatic coming at 18,695.

The EX comes with 16 inch rims, Dual body colored heated power mirrors with turn signals, halogen lights , body-color door handles, tinted glass plus a sunshade band on the windshield on the outside, with a 6-speaker, USB and Bluetooth enabled Sirius equipped MP3 stereo system along with standard air conditioning, power windows and locks, and cruise control. The SX adds upgraded Supervision Gauge Cluster, tilt and telescoping steering column, sport cloth seat trim, and metal pedals. Safety feature include full-length side curtain airbags, front airbags, and dual front seat-mounted side airbags.

The EX and SX both have a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shit, metal-finish interior accents, and leather trimmed heated front seats.

Power for the Forte Koupe EX comes from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder makeing 156 horsepower and 144 lb-ft of torque and achieves 25/34 mpg city/highway while the SX is powerd by a 2.4L engine making 173 horsepower and 168 lb-ft of torque and achieves 22/32 mpg with the six-speed and 23/31 with the automatic gearbox.
