Ferrari unleashed SA Aperta 599 Roadster

Ferrari has unveiled new photos and information in the new 599 roadster officially known as the SA APERTA. 
 
Ferrari made the SA Aperta to celebrate the 80th anniversary of  their partner, designing firm, Pininfarina and as a tribute to Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina.

The SA Aperta comes with a removable soft top, new lower-angled windscreen, integrated roll-bars flanked by aerodynamic fins and a lowered suspension. Ferrari say that the soft top should "be resorted to only if the weather gets particularly bad." The car also benefits form a stiffened chassis however Ferrari says that any extra weight added by the more rigid chassis is unimportant.

Power for the SA Aperta comes from the 6.0-liter V12 producing 661bhp engine used in the 599 GTO.


Production will be limited to 80 units all of which have been sold and expect a official debut at the Paris Auto show.
