Dodge has taken the sheets of the new 2011 Dodge Charger.
The comes with new headlamps,a new grill, redesigned front bumper, a new aluminium hood which have "dual scallops", and rear tail lamps inspired by the old 60s Charger which houses 164 LED lights.
Dodge haven't released official pictures of the car's interior yet but expect a thick rimmed three spoke wheel with and a lot of premiumn materials thowrn at places on the inside. On the technology front, the car gets a new navigation system with options like Uconnect Touch (with Garmin navigation), adaptive-cruise control and blind-spot monitoring.
Power will come from Chrysler's new 3.6 litre Penstar V6 engine or a 5.7-litre HEMI V8. The V6, offered on the Charger S/E and Rallye models, should make 305 hp and 268 lb-ft of torque, while the V8 offered on the R/T should make 379 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque. Power will go to the rear wheels with all wheel drive as an option.
Dodge say they also have given the car structural improvements, suspension tweaks and unibody pakage materials.
