The second award happens to be a tie between the Rolls-Royce Ghost and the BMW 7 series and surprisingly the Ghost sharing 20% of it's parts with the 7 series. Since the BMW F10 7 series has been under production since 2008 we have decided to let the Ghost take it this year.
Being the Rolls-Royce for the rich who can't afford a Phantom, the Ghost is cheapest car in the current Rolls-Royce lineup. Power comes from a 6.6 litre twin-turbo V12 with variable valve timing making 563 hp and 580 lb-ft torque. Hooked up to a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, it allows the 2740 kg Ghost to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 4.7 seconds and it goes until it hits its electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.Happy New Year!
